Located due south of Downtown Kansas City, Hanover Place is a residential neighborhood with a vibrant main street and access to one of the city’s most popular parks.
This community, nine blocks from east to west, is home to rows of homes of varying sizes and styles. These vary from two-story family homes with thresholds built in stone, to larger colonial houses, and to smaller homes with picturesque front gardens.
Hanover Place is bisected by Main Street, the main commercial artery of Kansas City. This street includes the vintage Madrid Theatre, which hosts live music events within a classy interior. Hanover Place is located just south of the shopping center at Broadway Gillham, which includes a Costco, and just around the corner from vibrant Old Westport and its Sun Fresh Market grocery store. Just to the east, the locally cherished Hyde Park offers a butterfly garden and pickleball court for outdoor recreation. Its location close to these retail outlets, and along the city’s Main Street, provide residents with easy access to some of the city’s most lively neighborhoods.
