Homes sell four times as fast as national average
Many homes have been here since the 1980s and feature architectural styles such as ranch- and raised ranch-style and split-levels. Many have two-car garages.Homes here are smaller, but the yards are larger than those in a newer neighborhood. “Land was cheaper when these homes were built, and developers didn’t try to squeeze in as many houses as possible on lots,” Radtka says.“A 2- to 3-bedroom home would be around 1,500 square feet, while the same house would be more like 2,500 square feet in a newer neighborhood like The Coves,” he says.Homes sell nearly four times faster than the national average, at a median price of $260,509. Prices range from $165,000 to $275,000 for a small 3-bedroom house.
