Houses are decently separated and carry moderate-sized lawns. “I would consider it neighborly, and people stay there for longevity with some original owners still there,” says Heiring. “You have a mix of older neighbors and newer families.” While the market is primarily single-family homes, there are condos and apartments. “You can find a variety of homes, including ranches,” Heiring says. “There’s some tri-level and bi-level homes. They’re usually around $250,000 to $400,000.” Standard amenities for single-family homes include three to four bedrooms and over 2,000 square feet of space.Getting out in nature
Besides having accessible sidewalks to take a stroll, residents also have access to three parks. Anderson Park is the largest in the neighborhood on the east side. Residents enjoy the 91 acres frequently as it offers amenities such as a playground, skatepark, baseball and soccer fields. This park becomes a popular destination in the summer as families use the pool and splash area to cool off. Take an evening walk out with the dog, then let them run free in the dog park. Anglers can try their luck within the pond nearby. Schulte Park and Isetts Park are pocket parks on the east and west sides. These both carry small areas of green space ideal for a picnic and a colorful playground.South Kenosha education

Residents can also utilize Interstate 94/41, which is 6 miles west. These interstates get locals to Chicago and Milwaukee.Local shops and eats
Residents find their local joints just outside the neighborhood. Take an after-work trip to Kenosha Brewing Company. Pair one of their 21 brews with one of their decadent meat entrees or pub-style appetizers. Saigon Panda serves Vietnamese cuisine staples. Locals love their Vietnamese Spring rolls and pho soup. “There’s not a lot of retail. Within 10 minutes, you can be at a Target and big box stores,” Heiring says. “There’s Festival Foods, Pick n’Save, and Piggly Wiggly. It is convenient to a lot of things.” Some of the other retailers include JCPenney, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Costco. These can all be found six miles west.
