Midcentury and modern homes on spacious lots
With development starting in the 1960s, Glenwood/Kingswood features a mix of midcentury and modern-day architecture. Ranch-style homes can be found throughout the neighborhood resting on narrow, unmarked roads. Traditional brick homes from the 1990s and Modern Transitional styles built in the early 2000s fill several subdivisions with wide, sidewalk-lined streets. These houses are often over 2,000 square feet, larger than the national average of 1,930 square feet. Lots are equally as large, typically falling between 1/3 and ¾ acre. Well-kept lawns are adorned with mature shade trees, garden beds and shapely shrubs. Most homes cost between $275,000 and $530,000, but custom builds can start around $575,000 and reach up to $700,000. Some properties come with monthly homeowners association fees of around $30.Students can earn college credit at R.B. Glenn High
