King Arthur Park

King Arthur Park

$745,421 Average Value

King Arthur is a quiet neighborhood 5 miles from Downtown Bozeman

Just outside Bozeman city limits, King Arthur Park offers more space than neighborhoods in the city, making for a different way of life. “People want to be a little further away from the hustle and bustle of Main Street,” says Kate Bradley, a Realtor with Keller Williams Montana Realty. “It’s quiet.” Downtown Bozeman, the city’s busiest area is only 5 miles away from the neighborhood, but that’s enough to keep the pace of life in King Arthur Park slow and steady.

Single-family home subdivisions and manufactured homes

The west side of King Arthur Park is mostly single-family properties, and the east side has a section of manufactured homes. Single-family homes are mostly new traditional style with 3,000 square-foot lots, well-maintained lawns and fenced-in backyards. “Those homes are all 6 to 10 years old, and they’re very modern,” says Bradley, who sold many of the homes here when they first went up for sale. “The further you get out from Bozeman, the newer the houses.” Homes tend to sell for $650,000 to $950,000, compared to houses of the same size near Downtown Bozeman that start at around $850,000. This part of the neighborhood has sidewalk-lined streets, and young trees growing along the roads. The manufactured homes are in a small area on the east side of the neighborhood. They often have car ports, small yards and sell for between $80,000 and $130,000.

Bozeman Public Schools serve the area

Meadowlark Elementary School has a B-plus rating on Niche and Sacajawea Middle School earns an A. Gallatin High School offers a variety of after-school activities like speech and debate team, basketball and football. The high school receives an A-minus and is rated the No. 2 public high school in Gallatin County by Niche.

Highway access into Bozeman

U.S. Highway 191 runs alongside the neighborhood and leads east into Bozeman. The route connects to Interstate 90, about 6 miles away, and leads to the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport, about 10 miles away. Bozeman Health Deaconess Regional Medical Center, located just outside Downtown Bozeman, is the nearest hospital.

King Arthur Park isn't far from green space, parks, and hiking trails

Minder Park is the only green space in the neighborhood and has a playground and picnic tables. Bronken Park is about 2 miles away and has walking and biking trails laid with gravel. It’s next to the Adam Bronken Soccer Complex, which is used for youth practices and tournaments. The Gallatin County Regional Park is about 4 miles away, and has 87 acres of fields and trails, along with a pair of small lakes and a dog park. Bozeman is known for its mountains and outdoor activities, and Hyalite Canyon is one of the area’s most popular destinations. Hyalite Reservoir is open for fishing, and close to the Palisade Falls hiking trail, which leads to a waterfall.

Shopping, dining and entertainment within 5 miles of King Arthur Park

Hop Lounge, a bar and grill with a vaulted ceiling, cushy booths and dim lighting, is the only restaurant in King Arthur Park. It’s known for a locally brewed beer selection, chicken sandwiches, and live DJ nights. The Ferguson Farms mixed-use development is a mile and half away, home to restaurants like the military-themed and veteran-owned Sidewinders and Tanglewood Grill & Tap, with its sleek and contemporary interior. The Market at Ferguson Farms is the development's shopping and dining sector and has additional restaurants and local businesses like Garden Barn, a home décor and plant shop. Town & Country Foods is a go-to for grocery shopping. For upscale shopping, Downtown Bozeman is about 5 miles away.

Live DJ nights and trivia in the neighborhood

At Hop Lounge, the motto is beer, chicken and vinyl, but it’s not just a restaurant—it’s an event hub. Local DJs visit the restaurant to spin vinyl from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursdays, and Trivia night packs the bar on Tuesdays, where teams compete every month for the first-place prize—a micro-keg.
