Established neighborhood away from the fray of Lafayette
There's a mature curb appeal about Vinton Woods. In this established neighborhood on the northern tip of Lafayette, older trees have had time to envelop the duck ponds and midcentury homes in a green canopy, creating a quiet retreat from the city. "It feels like driving off into the woods and escaping the town itself," says Matt Smith, Realtor with the Spencer Childers Group of Keller Williams, who has been working in Lafayette and surrounding counties for 10 years. As a kid, Smith liked to ride his bike through Vinton Woods, drawn to its picturesque residential streets. Although it's tucked away from the hubbub, the neighborhood also offers connection. An active homeowners association helps foster friendships with annual get-togethers at the neighborhood clubhouse and pool.
