In late August, the Annual Lake Ann’s Music in the Park Festival features local acts at Almira Township Park. Maple Grove Road is the only throughway in and out of the neighborhood, and Reynolds Road is the only street linking the neighborhood with the rest of Lake Ann, about 3 miles away. The nearest city is Traverse City, about 17 miles away. Munson Medical Center is also here, about 15 miles away, while Cherry Capital Airport is about 21 miles from Maple Grove.Downtown Lake Ann's different restaurants and eateries
Downtown Lake Ann has three main restaurants. In the mornings, people can stop in for caffeinated drinks, pastries and sandwiches at the Red Door Coffee House. Stone Oven is the dinner spot, serving burgers and pizza. Both it and Lake Ann Brewing Company share the same outdoor stage, where visitors can come to watch live music throughout the year. Lake Ann Grocery is the village’s only grocery store, about 3 miles from Maple Grove.
