Griffin Elementary School is a public school located in with over 400 students in grades VPK- 5th.
Sleepy Hill Middle School is home to over 1,100 students in grades 6-8.

Close to Douglas M. Cook Park and Lake Parker
One of the closest green spaces to Hampton Hills is Douglas M. Cook Park, which features a playground, walking trails and a dog park. Lake Gibson is about 3 miles away and is a popular spot for fishing and boating. Lake Parker, the city’s largest lake, is less than 10 miles away and is known for boating and fishing. The adjoining park, Lake Parker Park, offers tennis and pickleball courts, walking paths and a playground.

Residents shop at Lakeland Square Mall and and dine out at popular chain restaurants
Lakeland Square Mall is just east of the neighborhood. It features national retailers like Bath & Body Works, Dillard’s and H&M. The mall also contains a Cinemark theater, where residents can catch the latest blockbusters and Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park, which offers indoor fun and exercise. Target, Lowe’s and chain restaurants are located just outside the mall, close to U.S. Route 98. Publix Field at Joker Merchant Stadium is a little farther east, near Lake Parker, home to the Flying Tigers, Lakeland’s minor league baseball team. The Detroit Tigers also use the stadium for Spring Training from late February to late March. Lakeland’s downtown district is about 6 miles away and home to many of the city’s locally owned restaurants, bars and coffee shops.
The Lakeland Square Mall is just east of Hampton Hills and It features many national retailers for all shoppers alike.
Grab your peanuts and cracker-jacks at the nearby Joker Merchant Stadium for a Detroit Tigers spring training game.

Lakeland Linder International Airport is about 10 miles outside of the neighborhood and flies to multiple cities along the East Coast and Puerto Rico.
