Niche gives Lampeter-Strasburg Senior High School an A-minus rating. The high school has a robust agricultural department, and its Garden Spot Future Farmers of America club won national awards for communications at the 2022 National FFA Convention.Fun times and festivals
Celebrate Lancaster is an annual festival held in August at Lancaster City’s Penn Square. The event showcases the city’s unique culture and includes food trucks, live music and activities for kids and grownups alike. From May to September, Lancaster City hosts Music Friday on the third Friday of the month to celebrate the local music scene. Grocery shoppers can check off their lists on Grocery Discount or Weir Markets; both are on Lincoln Highway in Bridgeport. This may be a small neighborhood, but it is full of dining options. The Brasserie is a historic house turned restaurant. This French American eatery serves “cozy” food in a quaint indoor setting. On a nice day, guests can sit outdoors in the shaded patio area. The Conestoga Restaurant is located in a stone structure built in the 1700s. Originally opened as an inn, today, its owners have created a modern, elegant feeling restaurant that offers American cuisine with a local flair.
