North of Jolly Road, West of Waverly
The Lansing-Eaton neighborhood sits next to the wooded banks with put-ins along the Grand River and miles of hiking trails. This collection of South Lansing subdivisions and tree-lined boulevards are tied together by nearby parks, local schools, an active neighborhood organization and a signature South Lansing strength of spirit in the face of adversity. “It was a very thriving pocket back in the ‘80s and ‘90s,” says Brian Ozbun, a Realtor with Bellabay Realty, LLC who grew up in Lansing. “South Lansing was built around industry, but the manufacturers’ leaving caused a ripple effect.” While shifts of automotive workers no longer head to bustling factories in the community, Lansing-Eaton continues to come together to build a better future.
