Small-town charm close to Winston-Salem

The Town of Lewisville is a rural suburb maintaining its small-town charm. Located less than 10 miles from Winston-Salem, the community is made up of residential developments and a small main street with chains and local businesses. Aside from those working for the town or at one of the shops or restaurants, people commute to Winston-Salem for job opportunities in the health care, education and financial industries. “There’s not too much going on in Lewisville, but it’s super convenient to get to both interstates in town,” says Eli Kennedy, Head Broker for Kennedy Real Estate, who’s been selling homes in the area for five years. “It’s got a little charm to it. It’s popular, but not as popular as Winston-Salem or Clemmons.”

Those are pretty much the two selling points that people love.” Houses are either tucked along cul-de-sacs with modestly sized, grassy lots or are surrounded by dense forest with about an acre or two of land. Homes here tend to stay on the market for just over one month and sell for a median price of around $480,000, higher than the national median of $406,100 reported by the National Association of Realtors.
