You’ll also find condos in townhouse-style complexes and a high-rise building, plus low-rise apartment complexes. “The neighborhood is actually very well established, with a cozy, midcentury vibe that a lot of people like,” says Meredith Walker, a nearby resident and a real estate agent with Bluegrass Sotheby’s International Realty. “I always see young families with their babies in strollers, or kids biking around together.” The median home sale price in Deerfield is in the lower $200,000s, below Lexington’s overall median and that of nearby neighborhoods like Open Gates, Hill N Dale and Zandale.
