Newly built and renovated homes
Large homes line winding roadways with manicured front and backyards. Many houses have long driveways leading to built-in garages, and narrow sidewalks border some. North Lexington has mainly single-family homes, but condos and townhouses are available. Most homes are in the Colonial Revival style, and newly built homes are in the New Traditional style. Single-family houses range from $1 million to $4 million, while condos and townhouses range from $550,000 to $875,000. “They do have sporadic developments, but for the most part, it's called a knock-down; they take down a large home and construct a mansion and sell it for well over $2 million,” says McHugh. “For homes on the market, there’s a balance of newly built and newly renovated homes.”
Large new traditional homes can regularly be seen throughout North Lexington.
