"We have a number of great restaurants in town. All eating places have outdoor seating,” Hegan says. Carol & Dave's Roadhouse, an American restaurant, has a charming, old-fashioned atmosphere ideal for family dinners. A 5K race and fall festival bring the community together
The Ligonier community gathers for many seasonal festivities. "We have great events in the Diamond area in the middle of town,” Hegan says. In the summertime, watch live music performances during the Sunday Evening Band concerts. Fort Ligonier Days honors the Battle of Fort Ligonier with three days of activities like a parade, a 5K race and over 200 vendors. For the autumn season, head to the Pumpkin & Spice Festival, which has pumpkin-flavored food and fall activities. At Light Up Ligonier, get in the holiday spirit with the town Christmas lighting, a visit with Santa and a sleigh ride.
