Parents here enjoy the perks of being able to walk their kids to school and the convenience of having grocery stores and restaurants right in the neighborhood. “It’s a lower-income area. It’s appealing to investors and first-time buyers because of the entry price of those homes. You can get a decent house as a first-time homebuyer, and you’re centrally located. Everything you need is right around there,” says Erin Dreher, a Realtor with Mid South Realty, who’s a longtime area resident. “There are bus lines, and you can walk to grocery stores and pharmacies and restaurants, any place you would need.”

While it's not necessarily as bad as people say, it's also not that great. It used to be a quaint little neighborhood but crime has risen in comparison to how it used to be. I did go out to walk my dog and you would see children out playing. It's mainly bad if you have bad connections. The location can be convenient with all the local shops.
