Centralized suburban neighborhood in Longmont
Loomiller is a residential neighborhood located 2 miles from downtown Longmont. Most of the neighborhood’s dense streets are lined with single-family homes, lending to a peaceful suburban lifestyle. Along with the small businesses along Main Street, the neighborhood is also close to both the UCHealth Longmont Clinic and Longmont United Hospital. “West Longmont is very sought-after because of the views of Longs Peak, the ability to get to Boulder easier and then proximity to Downtown,” says Realtor Teresa Lomax with Equity Colorado Real Estate. “The hospital is also an important factor for the cost of living.”

These homes range from 845 to 1,100 square feet and can cost $400,000 to $600,000. Sprawling brick ranch-style homes with pointed roofs are also popular, with prices that range from $500,000 to $850,000. Additionally, modern split-level homes can be found in the neighborhood with flat roofs, stone accents and bright colors. These properties range from 2,200 to 3,500 square feet and are similarly priced. “The further west you go, you can get into some pretty pricey areas,” Lomax says. Most of the homes in Loomiller come with a well-maintained lawn and a driveway leading up to an attached garage. “They’re all single-family homes, built in the 1960s and 1970s. And there’s an apartment complex close to Main Street,” says Realtor Marie Raines with Equity Colorado Real Estate, who is partners with Lomax, in referencing Fields on 15th.
On the eastern edge of the neighborhood, close to Main Street, there are a handful of manufactured home communities, including Grand Meadow and Mountain View. Properties within these subdivisions are roughly 900 square feet and cost between $65,000 and $120,000. Many homeowners will create outdoor spaces on the leased lot, using carports or decorative walls.
