Longview expands westward along the Columbia River
West Longview was originally developed in the late 20th century, but lately, new contemporary homes and Craftsmans have been popping up in the growing neighborhood. A big draw is “The fact that it’s close to the Columbia River and the Willow Grove boat launch,” says Kristin Cheatley, Realtor/Broker at River Ridge Real Estate and area native. The park at Willow Grove is a quiet spot for kayaking and riverside strolls, away from the industrial activity upriver. Homeowners can find single-family homes close to the river, plus gated condo communities, a 55-plus neighborhood and three mobile home parks in West Longview. This residential area is only 4 miles from the center of Longview.
Single-family homes generally range from $333,000 to $500,000 in West Longview.
