Quick access to Louisville’s most unique offerings in cozy suburban digs
Wyandotte bridges the worlds of city life in central Louisville and the slower pace of the suburbs. Sitting between Taylor Boulevard to the north and Beechmont and Hazelwood to the south, this residential community brings a broad appeal thanks to the convenience of its location. "Wyandotte is a working-class neighborhood with a sprinkling of University of Louisville students due to its proximity to the University," says Deborah Cox, Realtor with RE/MAX 100. Cox has sold homes in Louisville and Jefferson County for over 22 years. Also known as “Oakdale” by longtime residents, the area sits within a stone's throw of other Louisville landmarks like Churchill Downs and the Speed Art Museum.
