Stonebridge Farms
Suburban Neighborhood in Hamilton County
Hamilton County 45140
The neighborhood has diverse parks, trails and a castle on site
In the heart of the community, Meade Historic Preserve's walking trail winds past towering oaks and a sunflower patch blooming in late summer. Home of the Brave Park is one street away, featuring five multi-use fields frequented by soccer and baseball players. The park is also home to a playground and summer splash pad. Nearby, Symmes Township Park spans over 60 acres. It has both paved and dirt trails, as well as an aptly named Bark Park for dogs to run around between April and November. Several other parks are inside and around the neighborhood, and the Little Miami River passes by homes on the east. The Little Miami Scenic Trail guides hikers and cyclists along the river. "It goes through several little towns, and there are several places to pull off and enjoy the scenery," Woellert says. Loveland Castle Museum is also next to the river. People visiting this 1920s-era castle explore an extensive sword collection and a replica dungeon while chatting with real Knights of the Golden Trail.Cul-de-sacs have single-family homes and condos with varying HOA fees
Tall trees, spacious yards and sidewalks line the community's cul-de-sacs. Most homes have similar architecture, ranging from brick ranch styles to new traditional houses on half-acre lots. Some diverge from the mold, sporting Colonial-inspired and custom designs. Many homes date back to the 1990s, but newer contemporary homes have also joined the landscape. A Design Review Committee ensures all new construction and renovation projects protect the neighborhood's architectural integrity and natural environment. Single-family homes usually cost between $450,000 and $800,000, and some homeowners pay between $15 and $65 in monthly HOA fees. Condos in the community cost less overall — between $190,000 and $315,000 — but HOA fees can be as much as $450 per month.Loveland City Schools receive high ratings and offer mentorship
Children attend Loveland City Schools, starting with Loveland Primary School and Loveland Elementary School. The schools have A-minus and A ratings on Niche, respectively. From there, kids head to Loveland Intermediate and Loveland Middle, which receive A ratings. At Loveland High School, students participate in diverse extracurricular activities, ranging from fashion club to Tiger Talks, a Pen Pal-style mentoring program with Loveland Elementary and Intermediate students. The high school has an A-minus score.Grocery stores, restaurants, and retail shops inside and around Stonebridge Farms
A large shopping center is inside the community, offering a mix of major brands and locally owned shops. Skip's Bagel Deli is a favorite for breakfast on the go, while Tony's of Cincinnati invites diners to enjoy steak, seafood and imported wine. Meijer and ALDI are the closest grocery stores, and Walgreens sells everyday items. Specialty shops like Hobby Town, At Home and Plato's Closet are also nearby. More shopping centers are within 2 miles of the neighborhood, and downtown Loveland is less than 4 miles southeast. Downtown is home to boutique shops and family-owned bars like Cappy's Taproom and Bottle Shop. The New Orleans-influenced Bishop's Quarter boasts three floors, each offering a different atmosphere. The first floor offers bourbon and live music, the second floor pairs wine with sunset views, and the third floor's outdoor landing is a favorite spot to watch football games.Three major highways connect residents to downtown Cincinnati
While a few Cincinnati Metro bus stops are along Highway 22, most people drive to get around. Highway 22 is the community's busiest thoroughfare, and people aren't far from Interstate 71, which connects to Interstate 275. Residents use all three highways to reach employers in downtown Cincinnati, roughly 20 miles away. Many people also work in Loveland. "Especially the west side of Loveland, there are a lot of businesses and manufacturing companies," Manzler says. Bethesda North Hospital, a major local employer, is about 5 miles away. For flights, the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport is less than 35 miles away.Residents attend neighborhood coffee group and Loveland events
Once a month, the Stonebridge Farms Coffee Group meets to enjoy a warm drink and socialize. The group picks a new place to meet each gathering, usually visiting locally owned cafés in and around the neighborhood. All neighborhood residents, including kids, are invited to participate. Locals also explore nearby Loveland events, ranging from the annual Valentine's Day Hearts Afire celebration to summer concerts at Nisbet Park.
