Family centered south Lubbock neighborhood

On the cusp of Lubbock’s growing southwest corridor, Melonie Park South is a neighborhood that builds on the area’s reputation as one of the city’s classic neighborhoods where tree lined streets complement an eclectic mix of homes. A bit newer than its Melonie Park counterpart north of Loop 289, Cole Whisenhunt, a Realtor with Keller Williams says Melonie Park South has much of the same family-centered experience. “I think Melonie Park South is very similar… They have the same experience of kids running around and going to the pool.” The neighborhood is part of the South Melonie Park Neighborhood Association and features amenities like a clubhouse, outdoor pool and tennis courts in addition to the neighborhood parks that adorn the area.
