Southgate offers convenient access to the interstate and shopping centers

At the southern end of Lubbock, Southgate offers commuters convenient interstate access and proximity to major shopping hubs. A thin part of the north edge of the neighborhood holds industrial warehouses, while the rest of the area is residential. Local Realtor Tarvis Grant says Southgate’s location on the city’s outskirts leads to a slower pace of living. “It’s a quiet neighborhood and it’s reasonably priced,” says Grant, Broker for TGA Realty and Property Management, who’s been selling homes in the area for over 20 years.
