Close to Liberty University and Lynchburg College

The residential neighborhood of Perrymont, 4 miles from Downtown Lynchburg, boasts well-maintained homes in a convenient location. “The main draw is the price point,” said Barbara Peluso Terzakos, a Realtor with Mark A. Dalton & Co. Inc. “It’s reasonably priced for some very cute homes.” Perrymont is beside the University of Lynchburg and 4 miles from Liberty University. “There are a lot of homes for rent,” says Peluso Terzakos. “These are usually rented by college kids.” Liberty University is a private university that contributes heavily to the Lynchburg community through its service program, Serve Lynchburg. In 2019, Liberty helped to repair and refurbish the neighborhood’s nearest shopping mall, River Ridge. The mall now has a new food court and retail options. The area is also close to shopping on Lakeside Drive and The Plaza, a local strip mall. For medical needs, the Centra Lynchburg General Hospital is 3 miles away.
