Older home styles in a walkable neighborhood
In East Lynn, there are traditional single-family homes converted into two-bedroom units and refurbished Victorian properties with bay windows from the late 1800s. There is some variety in architecture, but many homes are colonial style, including a few mansard roof colonials from the early 1900s. Most of East Lynn’s deciduous tree-shaded streets also have sidewalks, making this community a very walkable one. Homes here tend to stay on the market for about three weeks and typically sell for between $400,000 to $700,000.

East Lynn has a couple of green spaces for its residents to get out and enjoy nature. Kiley Park has play equipment, athletic fields and a splash pad in the summer. Goldfish Pond, established in 1870, is maintained by a dedicated group of volunteers. The group organizes annual events such as planting day, flea markets and a duck race. Residents also have access to several sandy beaches along Nahant Bay, including Nahant Beach and Lynn Beach.

Easy place to walk, drive or take public transportation
The neighborhood’s densely packed urban streets mean it’s easily bikeable and walkable, but you may still want to have a car to get to the rest of the surrounding area.
