Highway 99 and Interstate 5 provide direct routes to Seattle and Everett, which are 16 and 14 miles away, respectively. Seattle traffic may increase commuting time. The Lynnwood Light Rail Station is a mile away. This public transportation option provides direct access to Seattle. Multiple bus routes have stops along 196th Street and Pacific Highway. Air travel can be done at Paine Field in Everett, which has direct flights to seven West Coast cities like Los Angeles and Phoenix. The Seattle International Airport is also 34 miles south for flights to 94 domestic cities.Split between two elementary schools
Kindergarten through sixth-grade students may split between two schools: Cedar Valley Elementary and Lynnwood Elementary. Students with addresses west of 52nd Avenue will be assigned to Cedar Valley, a C-rated school. Students with addresses west of 52nd Avenue can go to Lynnwood Elementary, a B-minus rated school by Niche. Alderwood Middle receives a B-minus on Niche and serves seventh and eighth-grade students. Lynnwood High receives a B-plus from Niche. They had several STEAM pathways for career courses, including Environmental Science, Advanced Manufacturing, Computer Science and Engineering and Health Sciences.
