Small suburban area next to Highway 99 amenities

Situated on Lynnwood’s west side, Parkdale is a small suburban neighborhood with convenient access to the rest of the city. Residents can easily drive to Lynnwood’s most popular parks, shopping and events, and commuters have multiple modes of transportation to reach their jobs. “An attractive thing about Lynnwood is that it’s easy to get anywhere. You can get to the 405, which takes you to the East Side to Bellevue. The [Interstate] 5 takes you to Downtown Seattle,” says Bill Jordan, real estate broker at Century 21 Real Estate. Within the neighborhood are 20th-century homes with manicured landscaping on quiet streets.

Bi-level and ramblers on quarter-acre lots and cul-de-sacs

Houses in Parkdale are tightly packed together, sitting on lots of less than a quarter-acre. This neighborhood also has a wide selection of mid-20th century homes. “Most homes around there are from the 50s to the 70s, but you can find just about everything in style,” Jordan says. Bi-levels and rambler homes have front lawns with large hedges and paved driveways to garages. Sidewalks stretch along busy corridors like 64th Avenue and 68th Avenue, and smaller residential streets end in cul-de-sacs. Prices range from $560,000 to $825,000.
