Getting around Thomas Park
Bordered by the major thoroughfares of Minnesota State Highway 22 to the east and Victory Drive to the west, residents have direct access to downtown Mankato 2 miles away. Most residents use a car to get around, as public transportation is limited. The Mankato Transit System makes two stops along Black Eagle Drive in the neighborhood. Cyclists can use the bike lanes on Hoffman Road and Prairie Winds Drive. For longer-distance travel, the Mankato Regional Airport is located about 6 miles northeast of Riverfront Park, though it's served by one airline.
