A small village in South St. Louis County

Situated along Old Route 66, Marlborough offers residents quiet, suburban living with access to the thoroughfare’s retail corridor. “This is a very small community, it’s only a mile long,” says Joy Porter Drennan, the Village Clerk of Marlborough. “It’s mostly residential, but there’s shopping down Old Route 66.” Residential streets branch off the highway, leading to a collection of single-family homes and mature trees that are just minutes from local amenities. Tucked between the cities of Shrewsbury and Affton, the village is also just 12 miles southwest of Downtown St. Louis.
