On Canada’s doorstep, Marysville is a riverfront industrial city with about 9,900 residents. While it may seem remote, the community provides direct access to healthcare, retail, dining and Lake Huron. The median single-family home price is roughly $250,000, which is in line with the state median and well below the national median. “Currently, Marysville’s has a bit more inventory than the surrounding areas because there’s been new construction,” Distelrath says. On the city’s northwest corner, there is a new development of Contemporary-style homes that are priced from $375,000 to $415,000. Midcentury ranch styles and cottages along the Saint Clair River are priced from $240,000 to $550,000. Otherwise, prices range from roughly $120,000 for early 20th-century fixer-uppers to $450,000 for 1990s Contemporary styles. Manufactured homes are priced from $25,000 to $60,000. Various 1970s condos and apartments are priced from $60,000 to $160,000.
