It also passes the Fichtner-Mainwaring Park and the Stewart Meadows Golf Course before it connects with major thoroughfares Barnett Road and state Route 99, which cuts through the center of Downtown Medford, leading to the communities of Phoenix, Talent and Ashland in the south. It’s also an offshoot of Interstate 5, which drivers can use for longer-distance travel.
