Medina boasts an exceptional quality of life

Parents living in Medina can enroll their children in several highly rated public schools in the Bellevue School District. Medina Elementary School has received a 10/10 rating from GreatSchools, with over 90% of students meeting English Language Arts, Math and Science standards in the 2022 school year. After graduating from Medina, students will likely attend Chinook Middle School and then Bellevue High School. There are several private schools around, including St. Thomas School, a faith-based institution that has served the community since 1951.
Locals can walk around community ponds and to the beach
There’s plenty of natural beauty around Medina if you want to get out for some fresh air. Residents can start their morning with a stroll around the ponds of the city’s namesake park: Medina Park. The park is popular amongst dog walkers for its off-leash dog area and for parents who want to bring their children for a game of catch or for a picnic. Residents are also just minutes away from relaxing on the sandy shores of Medina Beach Park, which offers a serene atmosphere with a scenic sunset view. You can work on your tennis swing on one of the courts at the Fairweather Nature Preserve or walk along the forest landscape of the nature trails. If you’d rather spend your day on the fairways, head to Overlake Golf Club. Open since 1927, this historic club offers plenty of amenities for its members, including a lap pool, dining, social events and an 18-hole golf course that provides a challenge for players of all skill levels.
Bellevue and Seattle’s downtown districts are nearby
Medina’s convenient location means you’re only about 2 miles from Downtown Bellevue and less than 10 miles from Downtown Seattle. With the many lofty, upscale homes along with scenic nature views, it’s not hard to sell anyone on living in Medina.
