Wooded retreat on Mercer Island

East Mercer is a densely wooded neighborhood on the coast of Mercer Island, a small city between Seattle and Bellevue. Here, sprawling homes sit on the hillside above Lake Washington, and community-maintained trails connect neighborhoods through scenic shortcuts. “The neighborhoods of East Mercer Island have their own distinct character,” says Lori Holden, a Mercer Island native and Broker with John L. Scott Real Estate. “East Mercer is known for its winding roads, varied topography, lush feel and a waterfront reminiscent of Lake Tahoe.”
