Eleven miles from downtown Dallas is Country Club Estates, a residential neighborhood in Mesquite. It sits near the Dallas Athletic Club as well as public institutions like schools and recreation centers. La Prada Drive cuts through the middle of the neighborhood, leading to Dallas Athletic Club, less than a mile away. This private club has two golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus.
