Traditional homes built after 2000

The mostly residential neighborhood features several newer homes with various styles and sizes. Three-bedroom, traditional houses built in the 2000s and 2010s usually cost between $300,000 and $520,000. Larger homes built in the 2020s with more modern features typically range between $550,000 and $680,000. Houses fit comfortably next to each other, with some sitting on cul-de-sacs. Although most homes include a driveway and garage, wide roadways offer plenty of room for street parking. Lawns are well-manicured with shrubbery and flowers planted in the front yards. Prominent athletics at Horn High

Children may start school at nearby Achziger Elementary, which receives a B grade from Niche. The school is named after Don Achziger, an assistant superintendent of Business Services for Mesquite ISD. The next stop is Berry Middle School, earning a B-plus from Niche. Berry Middle School opened its doors in 1997 and is named after Judge Frank Berry, a Mesquite Assistant Chief of Police and Justice of the Peace. Achziger Park is located in back of Achziger Elementary School. It features playground equipment, walking paths and open space for pet owners to take their dogs out to play.
