Sitting alongside winding country roads covered by leafy oak and maple trees, most residential properties here were built throughout the 20th century, with newer builds from the 2000s peppered throughout the community. Neighborhood homes range from Cape Cods and eclectic ranch styles to Colonial Revivals, split levels, Garrison-styles and New Traditionals. Single-family houses usually list between $400,000 and $900,000, with new developments and those with water views at the higher end of the price range. There are a few condos and townhouses in the area, selling in the $300,000s and the $600,000s, respectively. There is usually a comfortable distance between the homes, and yards vary from a quarter-acre to over 2 acres with landscaped lawns and short driveways. Some streets have sidewalks, but the neighborhood is car-dependent.Outdoor spaces around town
