Sunshine, palm trees and Mediterranean-influenced architecture are on offer in Kenland, a small community just north of Miami's The Crossings neighborhood. Condominium subdivisions dominate the area, all with terra cotta roofs, stucco walls, rounded archways and other features that characterize Mediterranean-style architecture. The Kenland Pointe Condominiums offer garden views from their low-rise units. Community amenities like a clubhouse, swimming pool and tennis courts all lend themselves to the resort-style lifestyle. Children in the area attend Calusa Elementary School, which has an overall Niche score of A-minus. Next, kids attend Arvida Middle School, which has an A-minus score from Niche as well. Students choose one of three magnet programs: Global Studies, Environmental Studies or Forensic Science. Teenagers attend Miami Sunset Senior High School with a B-minus overall Niche score. The school offers various academies for students, such as the Academy of Business and Entrepreneurship, the Academy of Engineering and the Medical Magnet Program.

Nearby is Kendall Soccer Park, which features five full-sized artificial turf soccer fields on its 42 acres. Fondly referred to as KSP by locals, the park is home to many amenities, like a mile-long walking path, a fitness zone and three open green areas, in addition to its soccer fields. Devon Aire Park is also close to Kenland and offers sports facilities such as tennis courts, baseball fields and basketball courts. Just next to Arvida Middle School is Arvida Park, which has a multi-purpose grass field, looping path, playground and a picnic area with grills. Golf enthusiasts may enjoy the courses at the Crossings Country Club. Cool off in the club's resort-style pool or work up a sweat at the club's fitness center. Local anglers can enjoy the club's fishing pier, with its large lake stocked with fish and decorated with a beautiful fountain. Area athletes can enjoy the club's various sports facilities. There's sand volleyball, basketball courts, tennis, pickleball and more.

Kendallgate Shopping Center offers retail therapy like Burlington, DSW, Michaels, Petco and a few familiar eateries. Bocas Grill is a popular restaurant in the shopping center, boasting a vibrant fusion of contemporary Latin flavors. Residents can head to Kendall Plaza Shopping Center just north of the neighborhood for more retail and dining options. Here, locals can grab boba tea at Daboba, pump iron at LA Fitness, get lost in a ball pit at Chuck E. Cheese or catch the latest blockbuster at the Regal movie theater. Locals can grab their groceries from the Sprouts Farmers Market at the Shops of Kendall, which sits at the neighborhood's northern edge. Resort-style living with city conveniences right at your fingertips makes Kenland an appealing place to live.
