Vista Verde’s community-driven facelift
Vista Verde has undergone a positive transformation in the past decade or so, says Maria Carolina Campos, a local real estate adviser with Zurk Real Estate. In fact, the investment the community has made to improve the quality of life in the neighborhood caught Campos’s attention when she first sold homes in the area. “That was the thing that impacted me most,” she says. “The people who are buying houses are people who care about the houses. They paint them, they clean them. It immediately changed the face of the area.”
Multifamily homes, townhomes and split-levels for under $600,000
Campos says that many homes in Vista Verde house multigenerational families, so most people are looking for three to four bedrooms, a patio and enough space for more than two cars. The range of home prices extends from around $250,000 to $550,000. The Vista Verde Townhouse complex features single-story, four-bedroom, two-bath houses built in the 1990s. Additional homes in this established neighborhood date back to the 1970s, such as two-story split-levels, and stand on single plots with small yards, decorative fencing and large patios in lieu of porches.
