Swimming at Washington Park and events at Centennial Park

In addition to baseball fields, basketball courts and a playground, Washington Park is home to an aquatic center that’s open from May to August. The outdoor pool has two twisting water slides. The neighborhood is also a few miles from the city’s most-utilized park. “Midland has invested quite a bit into our downtown, so now we have Centennial Park, which is a huge green space,” says Braun Burkholder, a Realtor with The Agency KPJ who has lived in Midland for nearly 40 years. “In Midland, we don’t have a lot of those.” The park also hosts many events throughout the year, like outdoor movie nights.
