From oil fields to neighborhoods in Pavilion Park

There was a time when the only thing that came from the ground in Midland’s northeast side was oil. Today, neighborhoods like Pavilion Park are sprouting up among the hulking pumpjacks. While some of Pavilion Park is dedicated to light industrial and two apartment complexes, most of the community is residential. Streets are lined with sidewalks and newly built brick homes, which sit in clusters among the acres of oil fields.
