Beautiful Main Street, excellent schools and a laundry list of parks
Located 16 miles east of Cincinnati, the community of Milford is a bustling neighborhood that gives residents the best of both worlds. Whether someone is looking to be near a busy shopping and dining area or prefers a house on more spacious lot with additional privacy, Milford has it all. In recent years, Milford's popularity has increased in part because of its laid-back feel. “The atmosphere is unique for this area,” says Sarah Ragle, a Realtor with Cutler Real Estate and a resident of the area for 15 years. “You get a suburban pace of life with a small city vibe.” Milford’s Main Street area includes boutique shops and an impressive handful of restaurants perfect for a weekend afternoon. Or for those families with children, a highly-rated school system and plenty of public park spaces, adds to this community's appeal.

Spend an afternoon on Main Street
Locals enjoy spending the weekends strolling along Old Milford's Main Street. “You could spend a whole day just stopping into the little shops and enjoying the food here,” says Ragle. This part of town is a true throwback. Striped awnings shade the sidewalks while small signs hang above storefronts announcing their wares. Most businesses here are housed in former historic buildings, dating back to the early 1900s. Little Miami Brewing Company is one of these go-to spots. Started by two Cincinnati natives, this brewery sits on the Little Miami River and regularly hosts concerts in their event center. For something to eat, The Governor, combines East Coast diner classics with global flavors and was featured on Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.” Their signature dish is the Mo’s Rice Bowl, which is topped with grilled halloumi cheese and a sunny egg. Another favorite spot for residents is The Book Matters, an independent bookstore on Main. For all of their daily necessities, folks can opt to head over to the River’s Edge shopping center where they'll find big box stores like Target and Walmart For groceries, there are also multiple Kroger’s located throughout the community.
