The center of the town of Milton
Just south of the heart of Boston lies the town of Milton and the Milton Center community. Here, residents can find historical Colonial Revivals and New Englanders on quiet residential streets near the public library, town hall and the local hospital. Homes are also close to the area's highly rated public and private schools and the trails found at Blue Hills Reservation. “Plenty of people end up moving to the area because of the schools and the nearby trails,” says Sarah Truog, the assistant director of the Milton Public Library, who has lived in the area since 2011.
The Milton Public Library has been part of the community since 1904.
