If you want to have a picnic, read a book or take the kids to the park for the afternoon, it’s a great place to go.” The Powerline Trail runs less than half a mile south of the neighborhood. This mixed-use path currently covers 3 miles, with several expansions planned in the coming years.Spanish Immersion schools receive top honors
Kindergarten and first-graders can walk a half mile to Milwaukee Spanish Immersion School Lower Campus. The school's upper campus serves second to fifth-grade students and has received the Wisconsin School of Recognition for 13 consecutive years. Overall, MSIS receives a C-minus from Niche. The Morse Middle School for the Gifted and Talented focuses on STEM learning and receives a C-minus.
