Lower-cost midcentury homes in southern Milwaukee

Quiet, suburban blocks of single-family homes make up most of Morgan Heights. Buyers can choose from ranch-style houses, Cape Cods, bungalows and Minimal Traditional cottages, mostly built in the decades around the midcentury. Investors might look into the neighborhood’s handful of duplexes and small multifamily buildings. Narrow sidewalks and shady mature trees are found throughout the community. Single-family homes sell from the upper $100,000s to the lower $400,000s. Multifamily properties range from the mid-$400,000s to the lower $600,000s. Morgan Heights has a median single-family home price in the upper $200,000s. That’s lower than nearby Euclid Park, Rolling Green and Alcott Park.

You might like:

  • Alcott Park, home to a playground, splash pad, picnic areas and sports courts
  • Joan Stevens Woods, a natural area full of woodsy trails
