Just west of the neighborhood is Dretzka Park, a 326-acre greenspace that houses an 18-hole public golf course. Disc golfers also have a home there, with a 27-hole course that Head Golf Pro Dave Labinski said is very popular. “They hold tournaments all the time,” he said. After a couple of hours playing either type of golf, people head into the clubhouse to reward themselves with a sandwich and a cold one. “We redesigned the clubhouse, bar and shop area a few years ago,” Labinski said. “It seats about 125 people.” Oak Leaf Trail passes through the park’s southern end. The 135-mile paved pathway meanders throughout the city and connects folks to the downtown.Year-round festivals and professional sports
