Sunny, suburban sidewalks and roomy, rural ranch-style homes blend in Belmeade. It sits on the edge of West Mobile County, which Realtor Brooks Beck, who has sold homes for three years with Beck Properties, describes as "a giant area, where Mobile and buyers are growing towards." As Mobile continues to grow west, it's bringing newer home developments. "This area has a pretty diversified price point," Beck says. "Prices range from below $100,000 to half a million or more -- so it's attracting people with different budgets."
Mobile County is an expansive area that includes Belmeade and even down to the coast.

New traditional homes at Hunters Cove subdivision
Belmeade has two sections: the Hunters Cove subdivision to the west and established homes on larger lots to the east. The eastern section of the neighborhood typically has older ranch-style homes and cottages priced between $100,000 and $200,000. There aren't sidewalks on this side of the neighborhood, but the streets are quiet, and the large, woodsy lots provide privacy. The Hunters Cove subdivision has contemporary Craftsman-style and Neoclassical-inspired traditional homes with open lots and backyard privacy fences. Homes on these sidewalk-lined streets are usually priced between $225,000 and $400,000. Like many Gulf Coast communities, Mobile is at risk for high winds and flooding due to hurricanes. Some residents prepare by installing hurricane shutters and generators.
Belmeades' eastern side has a collection of established ranch-style houses.
Other Belmeade homes are priced between $225,000 and $400,000.
