The plaza has many chain restaurants like Briquettes Steakhouse. "Downtown Mobile is experiencing massive growth right now. It's bringing attention to Mobile," Ballard says. "We're putting in a new waterfront entertainment space, we have a Carnival cruise ship dock, and the streets are filled to the brim during Mardi Gras." In addition to these amenities, popular restaurants like Wintzell's Oyster House and event spaces like Saenger Theatre offer variety and entertainment.
