Due to their locations in the Northern Valley of New Jersey, Montvale and Park Ridge feature several opportunities for outdoor recreation. Veterans Park features the charm of an old gazebo, while also commemorating the service and sacrifice of local soldiers with a monument. This park invites locals to take strolls in the shade and past its abundance of beautiful flowers, as well as an opportunity to wait on a park bench until the train comes into the vintage station just up the street. Park Ridge and Montvale are each within a 40-minute drive from the George Washington Bridge and the excitement of Manhattan, as well as a half-hour drive from the legendary Sleepy Hollow on the Hudson Valley.
