Campolindo is a part of Moraga’s hot housing market. “Moraga has very low inventory, which creates a high demand,” Kimoto says. “There are usually eight to 15 available listings at a time; they get multiple offers and fly off the market. It’s always been like that. It’s a high-end area.” Campolindo’s wooded, hilly cul-de-sacs are lined with one and two-story homes built in the 1960s and 1970s. Residents can access this network of trails by parking at the end of Paseo Grande on the neighborhood’s western edge. At almost 3 miles long, the paved Shore Trail encircles the reservoir. While no contact with the water is permitted because of toxic algal buildup, anglers can cast lines for bass and catfish from the pier. A state fishing license and access permit from the East Bay Municipal Utility District are required.
