Granville is close to Muncie's main shopping and dining hubs
Once an industrial center with several manufacturers, the northside neighborhood of Granville became residential after factories began closing in the 1970s. Nowadays, Granville's quiet streets and cost-effective homes draw first-time homeowners, investors and buyers looking to downsize while staying close to Muncie's main hubs for shopping and dining. "Granville has direct access to downtown Muncie as well as to McGalliard, so being able to traverse that area makes it a lot more attractive," says Rich Lee, associate Realtor with Re/Max Real Estate.

Small single-story homes popular with buyers and renters

Many residents have lived in the neighborhood for years, though the area now has an even mix of homeowners and renters. Driveways with detached garages or carports are typical, but attached garages aren't uncommon.
