The namesake greenspace, Wildflower Park, not only sits at the heart of the community but serves as the neighborhood’s sole landmark. This 27-acre green space has a walking trail that snakes around Wildflower Lake. It has a mulched playground and an open field ideal for picnics. Wildflower Park has a surprisingly diverse culinary scene. Residents can choose from Asian, Italian or American fare, sometimes within walking distance. On Route 59 and W. Ogden Avenue, there's a nice blend of chain restaurants and locally owned spots, including Middle Eastern restaurant Naf Naf Grill. Outback Steakhouse and Chick-fil-A are just a few of the chains in the area. Downtown Naperville also has critically acclaimed eateries and cafes. International Fresh Market provides fresh produce and unique spices. Fox River Commons houses major retailers such as DSW and Bed, Bath & Beyond. Nearby Fox Valley Mall is another popular shopping and entertainment spot with anchor establishments like Round 1 Bowling, Sky Zone Trampoline Park, JC Penney and Macy’s.
