Bridgewater Bay
Multiple pools and saunas
There are plenty of recreational amenities within the community. The 36,000-square-foot clubhouse features a fitness center with a wet and dry sauna, library and an event hall. With a resort-style pool and lap pool, residents can choose how to enjoy the Florida sunshine. There are also tennis, pickleball and basketball courts. Although there is no golf course here, there is a putting green for keeping short games sharp. These activities cater to year-round residents, a rarity in Naples. "What's nice is that in May through October, most golf communities turn into a ghost town," Huber says. "Here, around 60 – 70% of the people are permanent residents, so it's nice to have stuff going all year long." Beyond the gates, Vineyards Community Park is 3 miles away and offers lighted softball diamonds, soccer fields and a walking trail. And, of course, a day on the water is never far as the sandy shores of Vanderbilt Beach are under 6 miles away.Spanish-revival homes and multiple condo types
The neighborhood offers a collection of housing types, all with Spanish-Revival style architecture. Single-family homes sit under towering palm trees and feature multicar garages with screened-in backyard swimming pools. And with multiple lakes scattered throughout the community, most residences also have scenic backyard views. There are three styles of condo options, including carriage, coach and garden homes. "There's a variety of different architectural layouts for condo units," says Michael Barnebee, a local sales associate with Waterfront Realty Group. "They have some of the biggest lanais I've seen in the area." Single-family homes cost between $675,000 and $950,000, while multifamily options range from $320,000 to $500,000. Community amenities are guaranteed with homeownership, and there is a mandatory HOA.Head to the Naples Boulevard Shopping Center
The Naples Boulevard Shopping Center is 2 miles away and features name-brand retailers, including Costco, Kohl's, and Dick's Sporting Goods. Publix and Target are in the Pine Ridge Crossing Shopping Mall. One of the popular eateries here is The Local Restaurant, known for its farm-to-table ingredients and ever-changing menu. Down the street, Fernandez “The Bull” Cuban Café & Bar is a frequented local chain serving classic Cuban cuisine and iced-cold mojitos. For more extensive retail and upscale dining, The Mercato shopping center is under 5 miles away.Well-connected to Southwest Florida
Downtown Naples is 9 miles away and can be reached with Goodlette-Frank Road. Interstate 75 is close by and connects to downtown Miam, 127 miles to the east. Southwest Florida International Airport is 25 miles away and offers multiple domestic and international routes. NCH North Naples Campus is the closest major medical facility, 5 miles away. Collier Area Transit services numerous bus stops throughout the area.Fresh produce on Saturdays
Vanderbilt Farmers Market, the largest and longest-running farmers market in North Naples, is under 3 miles away and open every Saturday. Visitors can peruse the selection of fresh flowers, produce and honey sourced from more than 90 local vendors.Highly rated Collier County Schools
The Collier County Public School District serves the neighborhood and is ranked the 5th best district in Florida by Niche. Students can begin their education at Osceola Elementary and Pine Ridge Middle School, both A-rated on Niche. Barron Collier High School also receives an A rating and offers numerous career academies in arts and technology, business and engineering. First Baptist Academy is a highly rated private education option less than a mile from the neighborhood. It is adjacent to First Naples Church, a popular local house of worship.Hurricane risks
Southwest Florida is prone to hurricanes and received a direct hit from Hurricane Ian in 2022, the costliest storm in the state's history. Portions of the neighborhood are in a FEMA-designated flood zone, however, its inland location helps protect from stronger storms. "You're a couple miles from the beach which is nice because you can still enjoy it without your property being destroyed when there's a storm," Huber says. Homeowners are encouraged to review potential flood insurance policies and other hurricane preparedness resources.
